Answering for some of them, it is because they want to hang on to their worldly ways. The Bible tells us that our ways are foolish to the Greek (unsaved). They simple don't understand,

Because they do not exist. Have you given yourself to the Pink Unicorn? If Jesus and God do exist where do they hang out? Why have they not visited this planet more? You write scripts, you know a fantasy story when you see one, or at least you should. The Bible, which was supposedly written by God is so contradictory. Loved the story of Noah and the ark, physically impossible to do and love the glaring similarities with the story of Gilgamesh. If God exists, where is he? Why would Jesus need to take his body with him to go to heaven, but nobody else ever has? There are too many contradictions for anyone not to logically deny their existence.

People just think that they are the reason why they live I am a christian and I am with God nad Jesus whoever doesn't agree with me will not go to heaven.
