You will probably have to pay a $100 change fee and the fare difference. Unless you bought a full-fare ticket (not discount) but those are very pricey, so I would guess you bought discount. Call up your airlines reservation number, they will know the specifics since each airline is a bit different. Discount tickets usually also have rules on them (no more than 180 day stay, must be gone over a Sunday, wierd things like that) If changing your dates means you don't fit all the rules, then it could be an even bigger cost.

There won't be any extra charge, unless it is a budget airline ticket. Most of the airlines ticket fair is valid the same up to to 31st March. April 1st onwards they add / reduce as it is low season high season fair. Just go to the airline office and change the reservation and they will stick a new flight details sticker on your flight coupon.

Simple - please ask the person from whom you bought the ticket! If it is a travel agent, he will be very happy to do it for you (so that he gets a commission on this too!! wink wink!!). If it is purchased directly from the Emirates, just call their toll free number and they will be too glad to do it for you. They do it all the time. It is a very basic and simple thing. The only thing you need to check is are there accomodation available on the date you want to fly. So HURRY UP! Contact the airline/travel agent and they will do it for you in 10 minutes!!!

best would be to contact the authorities as fast as possible. the further u delay, the chances of not getting a seat on the day u want to travel & also penalty rising gets higher thats all. so take action right now, instead of waiting for an apt answer & the most accurate answer u will get from the airlines itself.

Airlines vary on their rules, so call them up right now and ask about that.
