I pulled my strength together after each child was born and took my babies to my inlaws house probably 3 days after they were born, because I was in the hospital for 2. We always do our best for our families to see our children and us. My brother in law and sister in law on the other hand, we hardly see them, the last time we saw them it was new years day. She is going to have the baby in August, and I'm afraid I will not be able to spend time with my niece or nephew. I want to be a great Aunt, but how can I be if I never see them, and they won't allow us in their apartment because our children are children. What can I do? She cleans houses and he drives a delivery truck, but they are in this internet thing that they have meeting and sell stuff. So they are always busy I guess with meetings.

Honey, different people have different priorities. If their priority is not to bring the kids over all the time, there's nothgin you can do. Maybe you can go over there, but you have to accept that not everybody is interested in the same shows as you, the same movies, or spending the same amount of time with family.

All you can do is tell her how you feel, invite them over, offer to babysit, etc. They may change after they have the baby. Or you may have to accept that they are different then you, and how they want things is how it will be?
