They said they found mitochondrial DNA. You cannot clone anyone with mitochondrial DNA.

Have you seen Jurassic Park? People like to imagine that you could clone people or animals from a long time ago because they think that it would be really cool. But it is all bogus and false. They also said that they found Jesus' children and family. Are you kidding me. Jesus did not have kids other than the children of his church, which are too many to fit in one tomb. Don't pay any attention to fanatical historians who are strong in research, but not in faith.

We live two lives as we as human are two people at same time. One is our body and one is our soul. Where body dies in right time but soul keeps on living. A person who tries to interact with his/her soul always remain at peace. Well, we may be able to clone Jesus from His DNA, but all we would get is his face and his orgin, but we would never get his mind. You should read the books on the topics of Hinduaism. Its beautiful. One book you should read is "Bhagwat Geeta". This will tell you how true Jesus was, and what he was coz of time, and surroundings and not coz of his body. Hinduism might help you as its not a religion as its a religion of self realization.

regardless of the truth that if that were accessible, it may only answer, once and for all, what the historic Jesus looked like. except for visual attraction, Jesus of Nazareth and his modern-day clone could have no longer something in common.

They can only clone with nuclear DNA. They found mitochondrial DNA. Cool theory, though. If they could, they probably would.

Why? Is he going to start a talk show like on South Park? That'd be funny! I'd actually watch that on Pay Per View! You think he'd one-up Oprah?

Of course, since we've been cloning other people for years...

???

The DNA was less than complete. I guess they just can't detect the God half of his DNA with normal scientific methods.
