You need to teach her to sit and stay.
First, get some hot dogs. Cut them small. like pennies, then in half, then in half again. All she needs is a taste -- for a reward.
Can she sit? If not, take one piece, hold in your hand and after she sniffs it. lift it over her head, and hold it there... not too high, just over her head slightly that she has to naturally turn her face towards it, and in doing so she naturally sits. Congratulate her with a big SIT! and then treat.
Wait till she is up and moving again, and then do it again, lift the treat over her head and watch as she naturally sits. When her rump touches the ground say SIT and treat. Continue doing this for 15-20 times. Do it several times a day for a few days.
Now once she sits quicker, start taking the hand with the treat and holding it infront of her lift the hand up and say SIT. If she sits right away, praise and treat. If not, go back to the orgainal step.
Once you have her sitting on command now try teaching her to STAY.
1-Get her to sit.
2-Put treat in open hand, if she goes for it, say WRONG, close fingers, lift hand away.
If she waits , even a second or two, give it to her.
Each time you do this wait a bit longer, once she does this regularly start saying STAY.
You can find more info on Clickntreat.com
Once you can control her sit's and stays, you can begin the process of teaching her to sit while you eat at the table without pesting anyone for treats.
It takes some time to teach them, but it's best in the long run. A well behaved dog has more freedom then a dog that does not know what to do.
I take my dog everywhere, and everyone loves him. He is well mannered and well groomed.
Good luck. Try ClickandTreat.com for more info on training.

Nothing, just don't give her anything from the table while you're eating. Don't scold her or anything, because that's what she's learned that it is Ok to do, so you'll hurt her and she can't understand why. Just show her that begging does not produce a reward for her. Do reward her if she doesn't beg and sits calmly when you eat. However, it is normal to beg the yummy food, I mean if she goes on, I would just avoid eating in front of her.

Its a long process. First of all, dont ever feed them from the table or where you're eating. Secondly, when they beg be sure to point out that their bowl is where they eat by putting their food in their bowl and just constant work is the only way it'll stop the begging.

Don't feed him while you are sitting at the table. Put him in another room while you are eating or train him to go lay down a good distance rom the table. If you do feed him a little table food put it in his dish do not hand feed it to him. He may have learned this behavior from another owner but thinking it is cute and letting him continue the behavior is your fault.

Put her in her crate at mealtimes, if she is not crated then confine her to a smaller room away from the table and give her a doggy treat to munch on instead. Obeidence training is also very benificial once you have mastered it a down stay is a wonderful thing to use at the table. Good Luck

Ignore her while you are eating. Dont make eye contact and don't speak to her. Is one way another way is let her outside or pen her up in the bathroom or crate her while you are eating. OR you can change her meal time to when you eat so while you are eating she is concentrating on her own food. DOn't break down and feed her at the table. Human food can kill dogs because it can cause them high colestral (I'm sure that is spelt wrong...sorry)

I would recommend teaching your dog the "Place" command, which would be teaching your dog to stay in an area away from your table when you are eating. The "Place" command also works really well for dogs who jump on company, your dog will learn to stay in his place until he is told to leave it. Good Luck.

teach her to stay at a specific spot when it comes to eating times like if there's a door way before entering the kitchen or dinning room that's the line you will use to teach her not to cross. so that when it's time to eat she knows where she needs to be.
