You're absolutely right. Unfortunately most Christians turn the other cheek sort to speak when it comes to certain things. It doesn't seem to bother them as some tend to agree with it. They are just as bad as the character in the bible. Good luck trying to reach them. They will not hear of it nor will they admit that some of those teachings are an outright disgrace.

Satan probably knows more of what's in the Bible than your average Christian. What's more is he believes it more than the average Christian. Most atheists, agnostics and non-believers probably know more than the average Christian.
While most of what you've posted is in the Bible (not sure about a couple of them) it is, once again, a classic example of taking a few select verses and posting them out of context to make some kind (?) of point. You can't pick and choose, you either choose all or none.
I'm not impressed. It's been done before.
Have a great day!
P.S. Did you know an axhead floated in the Bible and a donkey talked? Do you remember the story of the commander of an army getting his head nailed to the ground? Did you know that Noah got drunk when he got off the ark? Did you know Samson was a murderer? Did you know one of the prophets married a prostitute at God's command? Did you know that one of the prophets preached buck naked?
What have I proven? Nothing! Just that, like us, biblical heroes had feet of clay and God can use anybody! Seems to me, if I was fabricating a story of a God I would let all of the above out and write about super people to impress others into believing. I wouldn't include the warts. Even Paul said the good he wanted to do, he didn't, but the bad things he continued to do. Think about that. Seriously.

You have a great deal of facts. My son could come up with even more and quote them better than you but that means nothing. The letter of the word is death. You must live by the Spirit. This is something that you either agree to or not. I have been a born again believer for 37 years. (I'm 42). The last 12 years I have learned more than I did "growing up" in church. There are so many churches that have lost what it means to be a Christian that I don't even associate with them any more. To answer your question, many know little to nothing of what the Bible says either by choice or ignorance. The other problem is part of your own statement. They HEAR something and just assume (as s out of u and me) that it is correct. Just because someone is ....a leader in your particular church, that doesn't mean they have arrived. You are to try the spirits with the word to see if they are correct. Many don't due that, they swallow hook, line and sinker everything they hear.

contained in the merely accurate thirty years or so, the quite a few Chrisitian church homes have frequently replaced their theologies to emphasise the aspects that are tolerant of Judaism & Jews... quite of putting them down. regrettably, those older perspectives are not as enlightened as their church homes. those perspectives are immediately those that bring about persecution of Jews for hundreds of years. in this web site, this is obtrusive what number Christians nevertheless believe those persecuting perspectives. this is unhappy. yet to a Jew it spellings "danger". Thank goodness, this style of large volume of Christians have moved previous those older perspectives & are people us Jews note of & care about! i'm continuously taken aback via how little people learn about Judaism and how a lot they imagine they understand. * Jews do not use the OT. that isn't any longer a similar as Torah & Tanakh. * Judaism is a wealthy faith with a own & community & international relationship to God. certain, extremely. * Judaism isn't Christianity with out the messiah. which will be a stupid incomplete faith (Christianity w/o Jesus). although, Judaism is a wealthy, deep faith. It focuses a lot on the right here & now, that we are time-honored for making a large difference contained in the international disproportionally to our numbers. * JewsforJesus and something else of the "jewish messiah communities" were shaped to administration Jews into replacing. (J4J avatar is a fantastic celebration - he's of route not in any respect been a practising Jew & has no clue what Judaism is.) those older perspectives cater to the more serious needs in people to take over others. And it exhibits. i guess it truly is the answer on your question on why.

Anyone who seriously read this ancient book would see the inconsistencies and irreconcilable conflicts within in its pages. God is personified as being forgiving and loving but is anything but if you look at the passages of capital punishment for minor offenses (Lot's wife looking at Sodom blowing up, the unnamed hapless soul who is stoned for collecting firewood on the sabbath, the women and children murdered in these towns by David and his generals. The condoning of slavery, genocide, and murder. Yeah these are great value to carry around.
If the bible were the true word of god who is timeless, Omnipotent, and possesses great intelligence (imagine the intelligence required to simultaneously read the minds of billions of "his" creation) there would be no flaws, contradictions, or inconsistencies. The "New Testament is as bad as the Old Testament or Torah. It is replete with errors. For those who doubt me look up Joseph's (Jesus' "father's" family tree. Mathew traces Joseph's decent to King David by 28 generations while Luke has him pegged at 41 generations with very little overlap in names (2)
What is the relevance of Joseph's family tree leading to David anyway if Joseph isn't the father?? There are contradictions though out the bible just like this. If it was the word of god, how did he miss this stuff????

GOD is light so HE cannot be "living in darkness"
Yes, Jesus did come to fulfill the laws(which means that we no linger need to sacrifice animals for our sins)
GOD is a jealous GOD and HE will not tolerate worship of any other than HIM....What is your problem with that since HE is the only real GOD?
Our job as believers is to take that Gospel to the world. This was Christ's last commandment to HIS disciples.
The meaning of "hating" here is that one must be willing to leave their family behind to serve GOD.
Jesus is GOD is Jesus is GOD is JESUS! SIMPLE!
John the Baptist was Jesus' cousin and they certainly did meet. John baptisted Jesus in the Jordan River!
Paul never met Jesus because as Paul himself states "I was as one born out of time"
You are twisting the Scripture somewhat but there were times when GOD sent the children of Israel in to destroy the inhabitants of a land. HE is GOD! It's HIS call not yours.
Homosexuality is an abomination and it deserves punishment.
You need to remember that GOD doesn't need to run anything be you or me to decide whether or not to do it. When HE says something , that is the way it is. Why try to correct HIM all the time? HE loves you but HE does not compromise HIS standards for anyone.

And you missed all the good parts about the treatment of women.
Ecclesiastes 7:26 (KJV) -
And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.
1 Corinthians 14:33-35 (KJV) -
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints,
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church

Little knowledge is very dangerous, And Inaccuracy won't bring wisdom. It's like your going to a trial court without an attorney or any documents that you'll use to defend your ideas. Ask any of your high-school teacher about this.
