It is only the YA page today, I can see it fine w/ Internet Explorer. Should I download a new Firefox copy?

My Firefox is OK in Windows but, a little weird with Linux.
Try "Tools > Options" OR "View > Text Size/Character Encoding"
My character encoding is; Unicode UTF-8 (I not sure this do anything, but, you may try).

The problem could be many things. I am running Firefox right now and not having any problems, but I did have problems checking my Yahoo! email until I switched to Yahoo! email beta. Make sure you have the most recent version of Firefox. Also some extensions for Firefox, such as Noscript and AdBlock, can occasionally interfere with Java and Flash that is needed to run some web pages. Check your extensions and try turning your security settings down or enabling Java and Flash for Yahoo! sites globally.

I am not having any problems with foxfire and YA, try running your anti-virus program and your anti-spyware programs and see if that's the problem
