Wow, yeah, so I will try to keep it short... It's awesome that you are interested!!!

So-
It starts out that God created the world. Later, He sent His son down to earth in by the "virgin mary" (maybe you've heard of her). He grew up perfect, the ONLY perfect man on earth, because he was the Son of God. As he became older, He would teach many people about God and heaven, and how they could get there. In the Bible, in Matthew the most, there is a lot of information about how he was beaten, so much he wasn't even recognized as a man anymore, and he was crucified. Now, being the Son of God, he could've done anything to make them stop! But that was not what he was sent to earth for. God brought him here so that he could die for us, pay the price for our sins, and give an open door into heaven. Pretty cool huh? And if you're thinking, "how could he just die for our sins, how would that even work?" He is God!

That is my breif explanation of Jesus and who he is. But, how do we get to heaven??? The answer is by praying to Him. There is no wrong way to pray, you can just talk to him like you were having a conversating with him. All you do is ask him to forgive you for ALL your sins, everything you have ever done. Ask him to come into your life and bring you everlasting life in heaven. If you really mean what you say, He will take your sins and put them on the cross, and you will have everlasting life in heaven.

So hopefully that wasn't too much, and I meant every single word I wrote. I believe in Jesus!!

God bless

Jesus Christ is the only begotton son of God (John 3:16). God created him as an angel, and then everything else through him (Proverbs 8:30, John 8:58).

He was then implanted into Mary, the reason that she was a virgin was to show that he wasn't a product of Mary and Joseph and therefore didn't inherit sin (Luke 1:34-35, Romans 5:12). As the only perfect person to live other than Adam and Eve, it was his role to subject himself to God's will even if it meant dying (Luke 22:42, John 5:30), whereas Adam and Eve went by there own will. Also, whilst he was alive he taught the truth about God (John 18:37).

John 3:16
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

Proverbs 8:22-31
“Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.

John 8:58
Jesus said to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, Before Abraham came into existence, I have been.”

Luke 1:34-35
But Mary said to the angel: “How is this to be, since I am having no intercourse with a man?” 35 In answer the angel said to her: “Holy spirit will come upon you, and power of the Most High will overshadow you. For that reason also what is born will be called holy, God’s Son

Romans 5:12
That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned

Luke 22:42
saying: “Father, if you wish, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, let, not my will, but yours take place.”

John 5:30
...because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 18:37
...For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone that is on the side of the truth listens to my voice.

Jesus Christ is the only son of God and was sent here to live a perfect life and die on a cross to pay for all the sin (things God said not to do and we did anyways) anyone had ever done or will do. This is neccisary because mankind once lived with God, but we sinned and became seperated from Him. When Jesus died, he came back to life after 3 days--conquering death. To be with God in heaven for eternity all you need to do is ask Jesus to rule over your life and forgive your sins.

Born in bethlehem, jerusalam. Was the perfect child, never cried or did anything wrong. Went missing for 20 years of his life, which were never recorded. Came back to preach the word of God. Gained Disciples after they witnessed Miracles. Tempted by Satan, but refused. Reached out to the poor and disaffected. Wasn't picky about who could follow him - that made Christianity incredibly powerful. Eventually percieved as a threat by the Romans and excuted.

Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, thus giving us an example of how to live ours. He paid for our sins by way of the atonement. And, he made it so that we could be resurrected and live again after this life by conquering death.

Now its up to us to repent of our sins, follow his example, and accept his sacrifice.

That's about as short and complete of an answer that I can give you. However, if that is not enough information I recommend visiting www.lds.org.
