Depends on if you mean dumb as in mute, or dumb as in unintelligent.
If he is unintelligent, and he understands what just happened, he will just speak to the blind man and tell him that his wife has run away with a deaf man.
If he is mute, I think that we could somehow write it in braille, although I really don't think that the answer is something that logical. I'll check back later for the answer.
