NO they are two entirely different things.
Robins whether "European" Erithacus Rubecula-aka robin redbreast) or "American" (Turdis Migratorius) are not an orieole (Iciterus Baltimore).

No, not even remotely close. A robin has a nest in trees and a orieole hangs a nest from trees. And their colors are different.
