Ok so I did something stupid I cancelled a date with my girl saying I was too ill to see her & went out with some friends instead (silly I know!!) Anyway she found out & know I wanna make it up to her, but it has to be original I can’t just buy her flowers & jewellery etc that’s just not good enough for her, so I need original ideas that aren’t too expensive either, something cute etc. Hope you can help, thanking you in advance!!

In addition the the "I am sorry", "it wont happen again" route you could try and bring flowers to her door and sing her a song that makes fun of the trouble you have gotten yourself into. Or recite a poem along the same lines. By almost publically embarrassing yourself in front of her she will take you back and think you are funny all at the same time. You have done a bad thing and hopefully learned a good lesson.

If you're really intent on making sure that this type of this NEVER happens again, I'd recommend a sincere apology composed of the following three elements:
1. I was wrong;
2. I'm sorry;
3. It won't happen again.
It's the perfect apology. But please mean it if you say it!
