I guess some people are saying that satan is a tool of god. Satan is weeding out the people who should not go to heaven. That sounds like satan is an employee of god. Without satan, god cannot run the efficient organization that people thinks he runs.

If there were no satan, where would religion be? Would man have free-will? Would it still be possible to sin? Where would the people who could not make into heaven go? Who would torture those people for eternity? Satan sounds like god's right hand man.

Know one knows why God didn't strip satan of all his power when God cast him from being an angel of God. He is a part of the plan for the end times, Armageddon and for strengthening Christians spiritually. Also when has satan pulled you or i from God? Every wrong thing we have done has been our choice because sin is always a choice not an accident and like with drugs 1 or 2 wrong decisions to do them and we are addicted and then it moves into a realm of our bodies just absolutely needing it but it all started with my deciding to do it in the first place. Those who aren't Christians don't have to worry about being pulled away from God because they aren't His anyway. They are as far from Him that they can be but if they here what Christ has done on the cross then they are closer than they have ever been because no one can become a Christian when they want to. First we have to have heared the Gospel then God Himself has to move us to be saved. You cant be on a plane that's going down and ask Jesus to save you because He wont unless you understand the Gospel (death, burial and resurrection) and God moves you. Everyone is one decision from making a stupid decision and one decision from being saved no matter how bad we or themselves think they are,

Here's a much better question: why did God, the creater of all, decide to create Satan? He had to have had a reason because God creates and does everything for a reason.

The reason Satan is allowed to roam free is so that he can "weed out" anyone who wavers in their faith towards Allah. After the day of Judgment, he will be sent to Hell for eternity.

You are in great error , not knowing Scripture...

In the beginning God gave all dominion in earth to man.....man forfeited that authority to Satan by disobeying God ....
Through Christ our authority over satan has been restored....
