I think you mean Emo,that's a style of music and dressing that revels in misery and teenage angst.Unless they really did mean nemo,in which case they are a lost fish!

emo is really silly. back in my day these kids were "goth". Not sure where it changed.....but they are so into their own emotions (hence, Emo...) they reflect it in their dress and preference in music. The attitude of these kids is subdude, mopy, "my life sucks", etc. This is the general philosophy of it, though and teens just want to belong, so they label themselves "emo" or "preppy" or whatever. Some are straightedge (dont do drugs) and some are into drugs....depends. Being incredibally vain and preoccupied with their outward appearance are two more traits, and "not caring what the main stream thinks is another" (when you ask me if you concentrate that much on your outward appearance, then you DO care what others think!) This stuff usually goes away by age 20-25...if not then they are genuinly weird.
