Why does the BIBLE not support the trinity teaching-see Mark 12:29??

There is not one single verse that says "God in three persons." Also if the Father and the Holy Spirit are separate persons, it seems odd to me that we never read about the Holy Spirit speaking to the Father.
Deuteronomy 4:35-39 doesn't leave room for three "persons."
If you don't mean "persons" in the ordinary sense of the word, then why say "persons"?

I Peter 1:2, "Elect according to the forknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ; Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied."
Okay, where is "three persons" in that verse? I don't see it. There is nothing about the Spirit being a separate person from the Father. Is your intellect a separate person from your emotions? I don't think so.

The Bible does not seem to support the Trinity doctrine, but after you study the Bible to try to find out what the Bible actually teaches about Jesus and his Father, you're left with more questions than what you started with.

Right now, because the Bible is so ambiguous on this subject, I believe this, simply, and only this--as of now anyway: Jesus is the Son of God, he has a Father, who is God, and sends us the Spirit of God.

They are one God. After Jesus was baptized He was standing in the water and the Holy Spirit came in the form of a dove to Jesus and the Father spoke from heaven. Also Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of US, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: The word "US" is mentioned several times throughout the bible. Also 1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. They are 3 different beings but under one Godhead. Psalm 2 is a conversation that the trinity is having with themselves. I used to believe what you said to but God revealed to me through others to much proof concerning it.

That verse has nothing to do with the Trinity. The Trinity is never explicitly stated in the Bible, it's something we infer. We have the Father, then Jesus the son of God, and then the Holy Spirit which Jesus says will be sent after He leaves. So, we have three persons and one God.

The Bible FULLY supports the understanding that God has a Triune nature.

1) With regard to Mark 12:29, you do not fully understand the Hebrew words used at Deut. 6:4 ("Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!") The Hebrew word translated "one" is "echad," which is actually a "compound one," in other words, it is a unity of several that makes one. Verses that use "echad" include Genesis 1:9 and 2:24. It doesn't mean an "absolute one," which would be "yahid" (see Gen. 2:22, where it's translated "only"). If you look up these verses and all other instances where echad and yahid are used, you'll see Deut. 12:4 and Mark 12:29 doesn't support your position.

2) The word translated as "God" in our Bibles is the Hebrew word "Elohim," which is a pleural word meaning "Gods." It is these Gods which are "echad," a unity of one out of three.

3) God refers to Himself in the pleural; see Genesis 1:26a. There is no evidence this is the "royal we," as some try to argue.

4) There are instances in the Bible where God the Father speaks to God the Son (Jesus Christ, a.k.a. The Word). In Psalm 45:6-7, the writer states: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: A scepter of equity is the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness: Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows." Notice that the word God is actually applied to two different Persons within these two verses. He is addressing God, and after addressing God, he says that another God had anointed the first God with the oil of gladness above "your" fellows. It should be noted that in this verse the first Elohim is being addressed. The second Elohim is the God of the first Elohim. Therefore, it is God’s God who has anointed Him with the oil of gladness. Another example may be found at Hosea 1:7.

5) Then there are Scriptural sources that reference ALL THREE Persons of the Trinity: Father, Son and Spirit:

Isaiah 42:1 "Behold, my [Father] servant [Son], whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit [Holy Spirit] upon him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles."

The first Person is the speaker, who is seen by the pronouns "my" and "I." The second Person is the speaker's "servant," the servant of Jehovah. And the third Person is the "Spirit" of God. Scripture repeatedly identifies Jesus Christ as God the Father's "Servant."

Isaiah 61:1 is a second example:

"The Spirit [person #1] of the Lord Jehovah [person # 2] is upon me [person # 3]; because Jehovah has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;…" Again, there are three individuals: the Lord Jehovah; the Spirit of Jehovah; and the speaker ("me"). We know from Luke 4:18 that the person referring to Himself as "Me" is Jesus Christ.

Um....which bible are you reading?

The bible DOES support the 3 in 1 God.

Do some studying. Try (1 Peter 1:2) and then get back to us.

B/c the trinity is idolatry. I believe in the ONE true God. Jesus is the son , and holy spirit is a gift from God . I don't care what anyone else says , I believe I'm right in my heart. GOD BLESS
