Im 15 and really want to be an actor. I've been thinking about asking my parents for us to move to L.A as it has many oppertunities. I would look for acting, my twin sister would look for music and my younger sister would look for dancing. My dad is giving up his work in about 7 days and my mum works from home. This is a good situation as my dad can find some work in LA and my mum can set her business out there.

I just dont know how to approach my parents on asking them to maybe think about moving there.

So we are kind of in a good situation to move there as my 2 sisters even said they would to pursue their careers. Also my dad has sold his shop for £65,000 and if we sold our house here in England we could use the money to move there.

So yeah can anyone give me any ideas on how i can ask them?

Thanks!

Why can't you get started in England?
Picking up everything for you and moving across the ocean is not the answer here.
You are thinking this is what you want, you have nothing concrete to base your success or anything that makes you stand out over the 10,000 of kids already there struggling.
It would be a better choice to take some training in England, especially the theatre, you have a wonderful group of high quality actors from England.
Get your feet wet, make sure you are suited for it and wait for a bit.
At your age you think you know what is best for you, but unfortunately you can't expect your family to follow a dream of yours.
It wouldn't be fair or feasible at this point and it is selfish on your part.
It looks good on paper but in reality it has too many holes in it.
Wait until you are done school, have done some serious roles and then if you are still interested then you alone should cross the ocean to Hollywood and give it a shot.
Your family should not have to endure an upheaval in their lives.
Your dream, you make it happen.
Set up the steps so you won't fail.
Do the homework, get some acting courses under your belt, do some theatre, land a very important role.
Take speech classes and whatever else is a prerequisite for this new career you want.
Plan the work and then work the plan.
You will have a much better chance at success if you don't go off in a flurry of maybe's.......and take the time to make sure your plan will come to fruition.

Sit them down and tell them what you told us. It doesn't hurt to ask.
