okay i work with my boyfriend and we are planning a trip and we both need to take the same 2 days off from work. The problem is nobody knows that we are dating, but they do suspect that we are seeing each other. I don't want anyone from work know this. Will the two of us raise suspicion by taking the same two days off. We work with about 50 people but there are few guys that i work with that suspect we are seeing each other and are intent on finding out.

First: Is there a rule against dating others you work with you'd be breaking? If not, why worry?
Second: What's the problem of taking the same two days off when there are 50 people there. Odds are there are other people who could do the same on a schedule hitting the same days off and for no other reason than they just wanted those days off for no common reason.

Well if you and your boyfriend are going on a cruise and no one at your work thinks that you are a couple and intent to figure it out, then you are better off going ahead and telling them even though you don't want to, because if they find out then it will be all over office, So just tell them I know it is big deal but you can spare yourself the embarrassment and agony . If you want to take your days before your boyfriend does then it might help with all the suspicion.

If you really want to go on the trip, who cares what people suspect. Just deny it if it is brought to your attention. You two shouldn't request the time off on the same day. Maybe you could request the time off one week, and he can request the time off the next week or so, depending on how far in advance it is.

Nice but to say the truth if you are ugly then girls will likely not give you a chance for you to do those stuff. Just saying, unless you find an ugly girl because then two of you will have nothing to worry about. Also I highly doubt this. You have not been in a relationship yet so you think it is like in the movies. It is very different and you shouldn't really 'plan' what to do because you will end up disappointed. ----- Girl who referred to me: You say that but it is not true. Just like this guy saying what all he would do. It is very easy to say things but not to do them. Unless it actually happens then you shouldn't say about what you 'would do'. If there is no physical attraction then the relationship won't go anywhere.

Why are you hiding the relationship? Are you ashamed of him? Is he ugly? There has to be a reason why you want to keep this hidden? If you really like this guy and this guy really likes you then both of you should not even care about what other people may say or think.

I think the best policy is keep your work and personal life private. When you let people know your personal business at work it causes conflicts. You have the right to date who you want, BE CAREFUL, when it involves your place of employment!!!
