Yes, tourism is very lucrative for a country. This is why most countries have tourism boards.

Some countries depend on tourism to support their economy. What choice to they have but to encourage it.

I appreciate the environmental issue regard air travel but perhaps learning to love, understand, and appreciate, the whole world, not just focus on our little bit, will help make us more environmentally aware and responsible.
