What makes a relationship work is honesty, faithful, someone who can be serious yet fun, someone who can respect, someone who enjoys life, someone who would give something up just for you, someone who will appreciate all the little things, someone who can easily smile, someone who can look right at you and see the good in you and tell you, someone who looks at you and see's you the most attractive thing ever even with messy hair., someone who has patience and will take all the time in the world for you.
I think those are the main things you need in a serious relationship and for it to work =]

Well alot of things really....but I would say there are 3 main things that make a relationship truly wonderful!! Honesty, Loyalty, and Trust! You have those...you have a truly wonderful relationship that will last.
Also, A big key in a relationship is communication!! You must must must be able to communicate with eachother....it sometimes takes a while to find how to communicate with eachother without yelling, but it helps alot when the both of you learn when to listen and when to talk and when to give in and not be stubborn....So good luck!! Both people need to be completely open and honest with each other. It could never work if one of them is lying or the other not being honest about their feeling in the relationship.

Well the first thing that you will need is to bond and after that all it takes is honesty but you have to make sure that you loved one loves you enough to hear your opinions and problems to solve it with you to create a long-lasting relationship!

Communication, Committment, and Trust. You need all of these things to maintain a good relationship. If one of these are lacking then your relationship will eventually fall apart.

Commitment.
Love will come and go, money will get tight, energy will fail, health will get better and worse, family will always cause problems, friends get in the way. But if your commitment to each other and to your relationship is strong, none of the other matters.
