Jesus Christ is the main character of Christianity. Many believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Messiah. The question is; did a person named Jesus Christ ever exist?
Jesus Christ was a person that was invented, he was not a real person and he was not the son of the Almighty.
The New Testament is a Gospel Fictions. The gospels are a collection of Egyptian saying. They are all priestly forgeries. The writings of the New Testament is base upon lies.
Christianity started out in Palestine as a fellowship; it moved to Greece and became a philosophy; it moved to Italy and became an institution; it moved to Europe and became a culture; it came to America and became an enterprise.
Satan is found mainly in Christianity. Do you believe in a religion where Christians go to heaven, while everyone else goes to hell?
Christianity is built upon a legend. Jesus Christ and Christianity is a modern religion.
Pagan is one who follows nature, one that sees the Divine manifest in all creation. The cycles of nature are the holy days, the earth is the temple, its plants and creatures are the teachers.
We worship a deity that is both male and female, a mother goddess and father god, who together created all that is, was, or will be. We as Pagans respect life, cherish the free will of beings, and accept the sacredness of all creation.

Human beings are always looking for the bigger, better deal. Finding peace is a lot harder to do than finding freedom. Freedom is defined as a lack of restrictions, independence, self-determination, and sovereinty. When skeptical humans want to deny that there is a higher power who will be the final decision maker on the choices of their lives, it is easier to believe in their own freedom.

Do not get me wrong. I have several pagan friends. And for a while, I studied it myself. Almost becoming one fully myself. Something just never felt right. Pagan beliefs and Christian beliefs are basically the same except for one factor that is the BIGGEST problem between the two. As a whole, Pagans do not generally believe that Jesus Christ was the one true Son of God. Instead, he is viewed as a martyr (spelling), a powerful messenger if you will, and nothing more. One who possessed many magical powers. Christians believe just the opposite. They believe Jesus is Christ. This is "the deciding factor" between the two.

Remember, whatever your decision, it is your decision to make. God can only show you the door; you have to walk through it. Listen to your "gut instinct". This is the way the Holy Ghost speaks to your soul to help guide you.....

So you went from Christianity to Paganism I suppose. I found freedom in anti-conformism. I've no need to become Pagan, as I am Christian, and very strong in my faith. But hey ^_^ whatever works for you.

well yes, i was beginning to study the bible for a while and i found i just couldn't relate...a lot of people that are raised in a christian, catholic home etc. and are raised to believe that there is one and only god and if they do not follow him then they are bound to burn in hell.

in Wicca there is no hell and there is no devil and yes there are dark gods but they are only there to help us learn that we sometimes need to change and we need to accept good or bad. i also feel that when i was studying the Bible that there were too many specific rules to abide by, and in the Wicca religion there is one and only rule "an it harms none, do what thou will" and this is not even really a rule, it is merely a suggestion and thus i feel freedom.

Wicca is a very, very free religion. we are not bound by the rede. in the bible it says that it is bad to fight thy neighbor, and the rede says harm none if you must harm do only what is necessary...Taking the Wiccan Rede -- "If it harm none, do what you will" -- strictly at face value is selling the Rede far short. Let's look at it this way: if a person comes up and starts attacking me, who's to say they won't do the same to someone else? Am I decreasing the overall level of harm if I stop them and possibly teach them the foolishness of engaging in such attacks (because they will meet resisance)?

And if the Law of Threefold Return -- sometimes expressed in the term "karma", although that's more strictly a Hindu concept -- does indeed operate, who's to say that my resistance is not the Law coming into effect against the attacker?

Also, in some Traditions of Wicca it is said: "Lest in thy self-defense it be, ever mind the Rule of Three..." Which implies that self-defense is certainly allowed.the day that i found Wicca i was truly free...although i do my best not to harm none.

When you say that you found "freedom" when you became a Pagan what does that mean?

People seem to think that "freedom" means that they can do whatever they want to do but if a person is actually enslaved to their desires they only have an illusion of freedom. People who have been born again by God's Holy Spirit are freed from the power and penalty of sin. They become servants of the good and holy God of Heaven.

People who are not born again are enslaved to the lusts of their flesh and the things of this world. They think that they are "free" as they run after sexual adventures and amass material possessions but in reality they are slaves to sin..

John 8:31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

33 They answered him, "We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, 'You will become free'?"

34 Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. 35 The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

There are thousands who are deceived every day by Paganism.
It is a spurious freedom, and apparently you have fallen for the trap of the enemy of your soul.
Return to Christianity and you will experience not only the peace which surpassed understanding, but you will experience the liberty available only through the grace of God.

Similar. The idea of someone being out there to look after me was comforting, but accepting that this was a false sense of comfort (that there is no god) was liberating and the beginning of a whole new life.
