I am divorced now and there is this one guy that I was with over 20 years ago. We are friends now and he has a girlfriend. He knows I would be with him given the chance but I hurt him badly and I don't think he trusts me not to hurt him again. We talked about marriage when we were together, BUT I find it interesting that he hasn't married in over 20 years. If he would give me another chance I would never hurt him again.

Depends on how happy you are in the current relationship. Would you want to risk messing that up? If you're willing to risk it, you probably shouldn't be married anyway, but that's besides the point. I have someone from my past for whom that would be a tough question to answer. However, in my current relationship (boyfriend, not married), I am happier than I've ever been and wouldn't want to risk that for the world.

No. Can't even remember what I saw in him....or why. The tables are turned now....which doesn't give me any satisfaction.....but he wants me and I'm not interested. Too late....came the cry.
PS He frequently turns up on my doorstep. I ignore him whenever possible.
