No I don't because I make sure it is kept clean. It only gets smelly when the dirt and sweat is attacked by bacteria. YEUK.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have noticed that also. I think everyone does actually. I just make sure to wash extra good when taking a bath or shower. I think it is just like ear wax, something is naturally produced by your body to protect the area, because if you have ever noticed if you rub the inside of your belly button too hard, it is very sensitive. I would not worry about it.

yeah, after taking a bath, som small amount of water is being left in your belly button, which, if not wipe out and stays there even for only a day will stinks, because it is now being mixed with your perspiration and some bacterias that gives a bad smell.

Yes most people do it is more than likely because it sweats (Close contact) even if you clean it every day by the end of the day if you poke your finger in it and smell your finger it will smell
However if someone else just tries to smell it I don't think it is that potent!
Just a normal thing that can't be helped, like earwax and boggies we all get them and we all (well most of us) are clean it just happens
Make sure you clean it like you would clean out your ears I hope

No belly buttons don't smell unless you have an infection there. If you do smell there then wash daily with soap and water and dry well and use an antifungal cream to get rid of the infection.

It's because it has crevices in it, when your body sweats, the belly button collects the sweat & it starts to smell. xxx
