"At least my religion has a chance of being right."
Because your religion boasts of a larger number of adherents? Ah, I see... reality is dictated by the majority!
Kiddo, I hate to burst your bubble, but it just doesn't work that way.

Scientologists recieve "auditing" which is really just hypnosis. This is why they believe things like an alien named Xenu living billions of years ago enslaving mankind. http://usminc.org/scientology.html
Just because 1/3 of the the world is Christian doesn't mean it's right. Someday there will be more Muslims than Christians, would that make Islam true?
I became a Wiccan when I was a teenager. Eventually I found out it wasn't thousands of years old, and that it was little more than a hoax. I think the reason I got into the occult was partly to rebel. It seems to me that's the reason most people do.
Over the years, I had to eventually face the fact it didn't work. When you look at the lives of famous occultists like Crowley, Dee, Cagliostro, etc., and see how they all wound up broke, insane, and/or bankrupt, it's obvious they didn't have any powers. http://usminc.org/famous.html
I'm a Christian, not because 1/3 the world claims to be (and just because people call themselves Christians doesn't mean they act like Christians), but because I now know peace I never knew as an occultist.

Interesting! Can I add a third?
There's another odd one I heard about, there is this dude who looks like us and he made the earth in 7 days, made a man and ripped one of his ribs out, turned it into a chick, she ate an apple they were told not to eat because a snake told her to do it and he says unto them " I told you not to eat that apple! Now you're gonna DIE!"
"And look, you've been naked the whole time, now you know you're naked!"
Next, I'll have my very own son stuck up on a couple of sticks with nails through his hands.
I think this odd concept is called um...Iminthesameboat, i think its from some small tribe in the mountains of europe somewhere, I could be wrong though.
I'm sure it probably has the same level of 'correctness' as the two you mention.
But I'm not a divine being and I am incapable of really KNOWING any of this, so I only observe. Your data is inaccurate on Scientology by the way. You made no claim into Wiccan.
I'm curious if you have ever heard of Zoroaster. Might I recommend dropping the keyboard and picking up a book.

At one point, most people believed the world to be flat. Simply having numbers on your side doesn't imply that you are correct.
Likewise, the ancients' beliefs (such as the "fiery chariot") make about as much sense as the Earth being created in a day. Neither story is meant to be taken literally.
Wicca's numbers are in the 300,000-500,000 range, based on some of the last estimates I saw. Hardly just a handful of schoolkids, especially given the demographics done by previous studies. Modern neo-Pagans tend to be educated adults, actually. (I can't speak to Scientology since I haven't studied them and have no clue as to their numbers.)
But, to answer your original question, yes, they do believe their religions are correct. Really really. And they've got about the same chance of being right as you do.

Who are you to say what religion is right and wrong? No religion has the entire truth. Your views on these religions are way off base. Before speaking you should investigate first. If there was a religion for moronology you would be the leader. Most people choose their religion based on which religion closely mirrors their own beliefs. There is no wrong religion and no right religion. That is like saying if you are not catholic you will not go to heaven. Only god makes that decision NOT man.

No one is saying that Christianity is wrong.
I really don't know Wicca so I can't judge.
Wasn't Jesus the man that said "He who is free of sin may trow the first stone"?
So why the hate Man?
Scientologist have great respect for all religions.
Well we have pre conceptions and misunderstandings.
That's why we shouldn't judge.
For your information there are many scientologist that are also Christians.
Scientology is a path to find your own personal truth. Because of this Scientologists believe in anything they want: Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad or Dharma.
Those allegations about DC10s are just absurd. Just ask any scientologist.

Well lets leave out the fact that there are many "fluffy" Wiccans out there that as you say only want to rebel against their christian parents...i have been studying Wicca for about a year now and i have found that we have one rule and we are really free...no doubt that there are some that don't really get it...our rule is, "an it harms none, do what thou will" if we try not to harm none then how are we wrong? yes there are people who don't always follow the rede and I'm shure that in your religion there aren't always people who follow your rules either...nobody is perfect.
maybe next time you should seek out your flaws in your own religion before attacking ours...if there are no flaws then feel free.

Arguing that just because most people believe something that that makes it right is not too smart. Besides, did not your Jesus say the road to hell is wide and the path to heaven is narrow? If the majority of people are Christians, doesn't it seem like they are taking the wide road?
Also, you don't seem to have even the fainest idea what either Wicca or Scientology teaches or the reasons people believe in them, or the number of people who practice them.

Why do you care?
Do you honestly think that majority equals right? There is no religious belief that is any less or more silly (or True) as any other.
I wish you were right. I wish all you "Good Christians" (TM) would go to heaven and leave the rest of us here on Earth in peace.

You seem to find other religions other than christianity a bit ridiculous. That seems very strange in light of christianity's beliefs about Noah's Ark and Jonah and the Whale
