The Federal filing deadline is April 17 this year. TX doesn't have a state income tax so there is no "deadline" there for state taxes.

April 17th - the 15th is a Sunday, and the 16th is a Washington DC holiday.
There are no state income taxes in Texas.

Texas is one of the few States which do not have State Taxes. Lucky You!

Normally it is April 15th, but because the 15th falls on a Sunday u will get an extra day

Ummm...since it is Federal Income Tax...it would be April 15th just like everywhere else.
