Christians, Atheists, Jews, Agnostics, Satanists, Pagans, etc.. can all be a part of the Gothic sub-culture. Many Goths are likely to explore alternative religions and forms of spirituality rather than following a dominant organized religion. Some find Paganism and Wicca to be appealing.
Now on the other hand, were you talking about the historical Goths? They have no connection to the Gothic sub-culture you have today. They were an ancient Germanic warrior tribe. Their religion would have been Germanic Heathenism

Let me tell you a true story to answer this one. My son, when he was in high school, about 4 years ago, had friends that were gothic. He asked me if that was a religion and I said, yes, it's satin worship. He did not believe me. I didn't argue. He entered a contest for a calandar drawing. He was going to portray the resurrection of Jesus in his drawing. He was having trouble with the face and since I am not good at drawing, he asked a gothic who is really good. The goth told him he could have nothing to do with Jesus. When my son asked why he couldn't help in just drawing a face the goth said, "Because we worship Satan and it is against our beliefs to even draw an image of Jesus." Hope this helps!
