Porn is more graphic. Full nudity, penetration, bodily fluids. Erotic photos are more subtle. Lingerie, glimpses of skin, suggestive clothing. Eroticism invokes your imagination more as not everything is shown so it is more romanticised where porn is more purely carnal in nature.

There are no difference except the amount of time the picture causes a fixation for sighting and searching out the meaning for the picture which leads to , " over the boundary" steps . that remains the problem. I remember how offended i became as a young child when a man approached me with a picture. this frightened me and made me angry because he had no permission to show the picture to me. I became angry at those responsible for allowing such an exposure to me as a child without my parents or my permission. art in it's ugliest form has come without asking permission from the eyes which are lay ed upon the form.

one aspect of it is in the light. usually, bright light is not associated with eroticism. switch a color photo to black and white and the index of eroticism instantly increases.
