They ALL have a mind of their own! Lucifer merely exercised the free will God gave him and chose to rebel. The angels who "totally obey" are ones who simply chose NOT to rebel.

Angels obey God... Just as humans, they have freedom of choice. Lucifer made his decision. for that, her was cast out of heaven. With his downfall, he grab those closest to him. The same is happening down here. Stay away from those evil ones. This is the only warning you may get.

Angels obey the will of God because they desire to do so and glory in his presence. If you read your bible you will find that Lucifer had a following of approx one third of the angels him and they where kicked out of heaven at the same time. God gave everything he created free agency so it is a choice we as well as angels make. I serve God because I love him, just as I guess angels must.

good question..that gave Lucifer a world to rule for his own and he took a lot of angels with him when he was cast down to earth for him and his minions to rule until the Second Coming of Christ and then Lucifer will be put in Chains and Christ will rule for a thousand years.
God gives man free will on earth...its more then the devil offers..he just offers hell with him for eternity..its just the one thing that God did that i wished He would not have..but He is Supreme Ruler of the Universe and all things seen and unseen.

lucifer didn't want to kneel down to man, so he turned away from God and is evil. The angels are made from pure light and had the will to serve their Lord. Everybody will be judged by God on judgement day, even Lucifer.

Angels are not perfect like God is. Angels are "persons" like humans and subject to making mistakes like not obeying God perfectly.
Job 4:18 Even in his servants he puts no trust, and his angels he charges with error;

Psalms 148:5 says they are all seperate creations of God.
There capicity for morals is no greater than humans.
They are just different bodies, spirit bodies.
When God made humans or angels he gave them free will none of us are robuts programmed to do right. We have a choice.
Which makes loving God very special because we don't have to.

Because Lucifer does not, and never has, existed. He is just a concept derived by men to indoctrinate, frighten and empower the minnions.
