Keep her...
but you must teach her not to be afraid and/or jealous to your youngling...
Don't worry, your dog will understand fast enough that your child are very prcious to you...
Let them play together everyday unser your supervision, and schold your dog (just by yelling "No" at her and pointing your finger) everytime she is showing agresiveness to your youngs, and giving praise and pet her when she is doing good...
Hope this help
Bless You

Although I am an avid dog lover and have no children, I know that children are more important than dogs. But I wouldn't be so quick to give the dog away. My observations are these....
1. Dogs (no matter the breed or size) should NEVER be left alone with small children. They are only dogs, afterall.
2. A two year old child should have been taught how to treat your animal. Teasing or jumping on a dog is unacceptable behaviour.
3. Your daughter has probably learned her lesson.

My dog recently bit a stranger for absolutely no reason, so I am kind of in the same boat.
It is hard to say. Personally, in your situation I would get some serious training. Not sit, stay, do stupid tricks. But training on you being the alpha and your kids being higher in the pack than the dog. Dogs don't bite higher members in the pack, even when provoked. BUT this kind of work is hard and constant work and I find with my dog it is hard to manage that and the baby.
I can't decide what I am going to do in my case, good luck with yours.
[I also meant to add I have been doing this very intensive style of training for my very hard to manage dog for three years now, so I know what I have to do, I just can't seem to do it with the baby]

Give the dog another chance...your daughter just scared her, and that's what dogs will do when they are scared like that--a little nip.
Your daughter is old enough to start to learn what is and is not appropriate around Doggie.
When my stepson was was 5, he was bitten by my 4 year old shih tzu, also on the face--he was teasing the dog after being told "no" repeatedly. After he got nipped, he never touched the dog again.

Unless you can keep them separated, you might consider getting rid of the dog....my son was 18 months old and bitten by my mother's dog, 100 stiches later, the dog is gone!!! I have NO tolerance for dogs growling, biting, children..
It might too, have been that the dog was scared and it's first reaction was to snap....go gently with the dog and 2 year old and see what happens..

Make sure you tell your kids to be careful with the dog. Tell them that dogs usually get mean when they are bugged. Be careful to the dog. Bcuz the dog deserves a second chance for shore!

get rid of it. it was biting out of fear and not liking it's area messed with. it was the first reaction of the dog. and it will be again!
my child was around a dog like that too and the dog started snapping at her and then it attacked me. I was glad it was me rather than her.

It's not the dogs fault or the childs. they should never have been left alone unattended. baby gates are handy for dogs as well as kids. seperate them and once the child is in bed...spend time with the dog.
