What an adorable song. (: Yesterday at night I sang this lullaby to my 3 year old twins:
Somewhere in a peaceful house,
Lives two lovely girls.
They have little smiling faces
And little blonde curls,
They happily sing and play all day,
And mean a lot to me,
Because they're so special,
Hannah and Emily.

I know they're corny, but I often sing 60's, 70's and 80's love songs to my kids. Some I like are the Supreme's "Baby Love", Stevie Wonder's "You Are the Sunshine of My Life", Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful" and Carly Simon's "Love of My Life". Sometimes I'll serenade my kids and insert their names into a song, or we'll change the lyrics a little bit to personalize it to them. My older one (my son who's 6) rolls his eyes sometimes, but I hope this does create wonderful memories for them and lets them know how much they're loved.
We also taught my son his name using the "John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith" song from Seseme Street, and just inserted his name in lieu of the chorus. Even though he has a long name with two middle names (named after family), it totally worked. Good luck and have fun with it! (By the way, I loved your lullabye for your daughter; may steal this idea for my own kids:-)

Sleep little prince all is still,
Foldeth the sheep on the hill.
Silent the hum of the Bees,
Birds are at rest in the trees.
Quiet and peaceful the room.
Slowly the big silver moon,
Rises and peeps o'er the hill.
Sleep little prince all still,
Lye still, lye still.

I've never made up my own, and yours is cute. You could check out some of the parenting sites on-line. They have some great songs. Also check out dogpile.com. You can download lots of songs there.
And please don't listen to some of these idiots insulting your song. Some people are immature and brainless. I guess it takes a parent to truly understand how lovely a simple rhyme about your child can be.

But the way u smile,

U can pat my head,
Just as much as u like!!
Love, u r young
And ur heart is gentle,
Like a song of love,
That was written by God,
In the heavens above!!

Paint a rainbow. a song which I wrote for my youngest.
