Frankly, I don't try. I have to wonder just how wholesome fruits and vegetables that are shipped from thousands and thousands of miles away are. In reality, we ought to eat locally grown foods in season. What can be the nutritional value of a tomato grown in Chile, picked green, gassed to turn red before its time?
Remember this: because the food industry molds the nutrition agenda served to the public by dictating the government’s food advice the food pyramid is based on what products agribusiness wants to sell.

I try to cram it all in by having fruit and veg with every main meal for example, by having a piece of fruit at breakfast (e.g.bannana with rice crispies or weatabix with apple and raisins or toast followed by an orange or apple). I also have a small salad with my Lunch followed by a piece of fruit (e.g. slice of melon, pineappple, bowl of summer berries, satsuma or a box of raisins etc)and then either a large salad or 4 or 5 different veg with dinner (e.g. chicken breast with a large salad consisting of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onions, red and yellow peppers and celery OR Turkey breast wth broocoli florettes, green beans, sweetcorn, carrots and potatoes).

So easy...!first of all believe that it's a chance to pamper yourself.a glass of juice is considered as one portion.a medium bowl of salad is another.a banana and a handful of raisins or 4 prunes would make 2 portions.2 heaved spoons of poached vegetables will make another one.won't it.that's five in total.Cheer up that you are free to try a variety every day.

Super easy. I graze on raw snow peas, carrots, celery, beets, kolrabi, brocolli, etc, dipped in hummus, and juice swiss chard, spinach parsley, and beets with carrots and apples twice a day with a juice extractor. Salad for lunch, or veggies and sprouts wrapped in lettuce. I grow tons of exotic sprouts and eat them by the handful-delish! Crunchy, sweet, lovely
