I plan on using strength and cardio, combined with eating only veggies and lean meat. Has anyone tried this?

It's possible, but not recommended. You'll have to drastically cut back on your calorie intake and increase your aerobic activity.

Walk for one hour every day including weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. Do at least 30 minutes of weight training each week. Do 60 minutes of additional, higher intensity cardio each week. You don’t need additional equipment—infomercial products like the Ab Lounger, Sauna Belt, etc. are all worthless so don’t waste your money.

Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Your primary source of sustenance should be grilled boneless skinless chicken breasts and canned tuna (in water, not oil). No dairy (except low fat cottage cheese occasionally); no processed meats; no heavy sauces; no chips, cookies, sodas, breads, etc.

Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. Don’t starve yourself during the day, but if you don't wake up famished, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed.

Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Turn off the TV and the computer. Sleep is vitally important.

Don't consume alcohol—alcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value. Some people will argue that alcohol has some health benefits when consumed in moderation—I’m not debating that—but we’re talking about weight loss here. Lay off the booze if you want to lose the fat.

Drink lots of water, then drink more. Not tea, not Gatorade, not milk. Water. If your urine isn’t almost clear, you need to drink more water.

Good luck.

Lose 20 Pounds In 4 Weeks

That's an awful lot of weight in 4 weeks. What you also need to know is that you will gain a bit of muscle weight while losing fat because of working out. However, you will see a change in your body that will make up for that.

You could go on a 30 day cleanse to help you along with the weight loss. Don't forget to supplement calcium and vitamins as you have not mentioned fruit above.

Yes it is. I used the same diet structure as you along with doing at least 2 hours of exercise a day and I lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks. But be careful because it completely screwed up my digestive system and I became physically sick every time I tried to eat any form of carbohydrates for about 2 months after I stopped the diet. It sounds like you are doing the South Beach Diet- that is what I did and I couldn't eat carrots, corn, sugar, milk, alcohol, any carbohydrates, any fruit and many other foods were banned, it's very strict!! Also you need to make sure that you each canola oil and nuts every day to give your body a bit of substance- it should all be provided in detail in the diet you are doing or if not just research the south beach diet online.

Good luck :)

That's 5 lbs a week! If you exercise like crazy and don't eat ANYTHING then yes but once you start eating again you will gain it back. I would shot for about 8-10 lbs a week, that is 2-2 1/2 lbs every week which is still a lot but duable if you eat very healthy and exercise a lot. Also this will be actual weight that you can keep off. Good luck!

That answer cannot be answered percise because everyone is physically different. I'm not saying it isn't possible but if you do workout a lot and eat correctly. It possible you could lose that much weight. For my experience, I worked out for 3 weeks with Winsor Pilates and lost 10-15 pounds. Winsor Pilates is a KILLER but definitely a excellent workout program. Good luck with the whatever workout you choose. =)

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

The only even nearly safe way to do this is to Juice fast - or, if you feel you can't do that, eat nothing but fruit and veg. Depending on how much you weigh (you will lose weight quicker the more you weigh), you will lose at least 5lbs in the first week.

If you decide to do this, don't cheat - else it won't work. Drink lots of water every day and take gentle exercise - walking, etc - but nothing too vigorous. Before starting and when coming off a fast, eat nice, natural foods else your system will go dodgy! Not fun :)

Check out google for more information - this is the first result: http://www.juicefasting.org/
