I'm looking for a local college/center to learn Korean at...preferably in the Rhode Island area...and maybe some parts of Mass...
A summer program or something independent from regular college courses is something I would be interested in...

We are happy to announce that the RIKS class will begin at 7PM, September 10th, 2004. There are classes for all levels of Korean proficiency. The RIKS aims to teach Korean language and cultural heritage to Korean-American second generations in and nearby Rhode Island. The main objective of the RIKS is to help them to find their identities and gain self-confidence needed for becoming successful members of American society. The class schedule of the RIKS is based upon that of public schools in Rhode Island. you could also try local colleges or community centers. they usually offer discounted classes and you might even earn college credit. here's a listing I found for community colleges in the boston area.
