I guy I really like was at a party with me, and tried to hook up with me all night. (For the record I wouldn't cause he was a little buzed/drunk) Anyway, the next day my roomates boy friend told me that he was trying to be coc*ky and saying I was all over him. Which we all knew was the exact opposite of what happpend.
My question is, is this something guys do alot? I've never played the flirtatious chase into a relationship, and I really like this kid. Should I back off, or continue lettinghim feel like a macho man?

#1 when guys do that we know that it never really happened. #2 Most guys do, do that all the time, there is no getting around it. Guys like to tell there friends what happen cause we like to look good infront of our friends and we are afraid to look like losers in front of our friends. So you might as well get used to it. I personally like to keep my personal life personal and the longer you're with someone the less it will happen cause our friends expect that type of stuff to happen. But it goes both ways too so it tends to be a way of life. We know that females talk to each other all the time. About what we do and how good/not good we are in bed.. Its a way of life..

No, it is something that guys mostly don't do! Only jerks do it!
You should back off because if he was drunk that night, he is morelikely to get drunk again and again. You don't wanna be with a guy like that when he is drunk! Trust me!
The macho man works for you this time :)

sounds like the too of you are never going to hook up because you are both stubborn. And yes guys do this all the time. But if you never let this guy know how you really feel then you may as well find someone else.

Dont say anything. Everyone knows the truth. If hes saying that stuff then he obviously kind of likes you too. Just let it slide and see what happens. If you end up in that situation again though dont give in to him. Try to see him when you're sober. This has happened to me too many times, I can understand where you're coming from.

You should back off of him because he may be a liar. Yes guys tell their sides better to make it more interesting or even leave out some things but you never lie about it.

Back off. A lot of men act like this to feed their ego and make themselves look like more of a man with their friends. Don't feed this type of behavior, and don't expect it to change.

"Guys behavior"? Are we like "projects" to women? We are human beings, not robotic systems, ya know. If you like the guy, treat him like an individual person and not some part of some female made up mind game.
