Which one of them was the first to deside that they sould split?
And wich one changed the way we Holy Communicate and do our cross? Thanx

money is the biggest difference between them. the vatican has most of it.

We split in 1054. Before that we were all both Catholic and Orthodox and the Pope was the head of the whole church. I am Catholic and I went to an Orthodox Mass to see how much alike we are. It honestly is not much different and it would probably take a seminarian to tell you what the real differences are. Considering that the split happened in 1054 it is likely that both Churches have slightly altered the order of service since the schism.
