Is it true that early Muslims used to drink prophet Muhammad's urine and sweat?

Question

I read many prophetic statements that prophet Muhammad's companions used to drink his urine and sweat. There is even a prophetic statement about a woman who drank his urine and prophet Muhammed praised her and told her she would never feel hungry again.

Was there a reason for those people to do that?

I've never heard that the companions of the prophet (Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him) USED TO (as you mentioned) drink prophet's urine, besides the hadeath you are posting says that it happend ACCIDENTALLY (as you didn't mention).

Besides, even if this statements is saheh. I don't mind in believing it. what makes me believe that he cured Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) from a snakebite during al-hijra, what makes me believe in Al-Israa' wal Mi'raaj, makes me also to believe this story, because prophet Mohammed wasn't like any human being he was the best and greatest human being ever walked on this earth. so such miracles are considered light miracles compared to THE BEST MIRACLE EVER; which is THE HOLY QUR'AAN.

Do you really want to know why we muslims believe that much?
Listen: If you ever tried to make a research about miracles in the Holy Qur'aan and Sunnah specially the scientific ones and miracles concernig regulating one's life, you'll be surprised how could an unlettered man, know such a thing?, How could he know embryonic developmental stages in these details? did he had microscopes? How did he know that the earth is formed of 7 layers? did he had Richter scale? How how how ......
And you'll reach to only one conclusion that this is really a revelatiom from the one who know everything (Allah) and Allah (the Creator) had chosen this man to deliver his last message, so how would you imagine a man chosen by The One who
“There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, All-Seer.” [al-Shoora 42:11]. Is it that hard to believe he's not like any human being? I don't think so.

One question I wanted to ask you, why do you try as best as you can to show that Islam is a bad religion?
Why don't you try to be fair minded, read the Qur'aan and the true sunnah and learn about Islam from true sources?
Why do you EXACTLY do as what's said in this noble verse:
"He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding."?

At the end all what I can do, is to ask Allah to guide you to his straight path and true religion; Islam. Ameen

I don't think that is true... but the Prophet did suggest to the people to drink the Urine of a Camel for medicinal purposes.

great post!!! I try my best to obey my mother even though she is Christian and I am Muslim sometimes its hard to because we both have different views but I do help her as much as possible and Allah knows im intetntions and the only thing I do disobey her on is when she wants me to do things against Allah other then that I try my best to follow as Allah wants and Allah rewards us if we are patient even if our parents don't deserve respect. I think that a lot of kids now days disobey there parents maybe because of where they are for example in the west alot of kids show no respect and they want to fit it with the western culture, if you compare it to the Muslim countries there parents are priority 1 and are taken care of or some kids are just disobedient. there is also a hadith that states. the prophet said (SAW) "One who cuts off his family ties does not enter the Garden of Paradise

No such thing is true. That is not allowed in Islam. Islam is a clean and pure religion, so drinking anyones urine is out of the question.

I never heard this before. Also, can you provide the links in English please. I'm an American and I only speak English and now I'm learning German. Arabic will come one day in the future. Until then, please give me the information in English.

BTW, what does it matter if they did or not? That won't take away my faith in Allah, because of the actions of people a long time ago. Allah bless you.
