It depends on your area and whether you are going to do NHS classes or NCT classes.
NHS classes really vary. Some areas offer a good course, other areas give you a few hours one afternoon! I was never actually offered NHS classes but I think that's because I moved areas halfway through my pregnancy.
I am doing NCT classes which you pay for (about £150 for 9 2 hour classes) and they start 3 months before the due month (everyone in the class is due in the same month, but obviously some people are due near the start and some near the end). NCT classes have a max of 6 couples so they can be hard to get onto and you have to apply early. So if you want to do them you should get in touch with your local NCT branch as soon as possible. They are a really good way to meet other couples in the same area, whereas everyone I know who did the NHS classes said they were rubbish!

Usually at about 28 - 30 weeks. However, I lived in a rural area and didn't get classes until 34 weeks! The classes are very good (depending on your midwife) but you can always ask your midwife, physio, doctor at personal appointments if you need additional information. Good luck. x

The scientific institution I paintings at has instructions approximately diverse subjects by way of out the being pregnant. The instructions i've got faith you're touching on are the arranged childbirth. you're able to be taking them at approximately 30 weeks of being pregnant yet each and every facility is diverse. good success:)

Usuallly towards the end of you pregnancy, about 28 weeks on wards but it does depend on your local area. Your HV will get in touch when its time but maybe give her a ring to make sure.
Remember your work are obliged to give you paid time of to attend these.

I think it is normally at about 30 weeks. you should speak to your midwife and she should be able to point you in the right direction.
