I will be having some lessons with instructor and some kind members of my fam have offered for me to do practice driving in their cars. Unfortunately I don't know about insurance and how to go about being insured for several cars? gonna get expensive if I have additional premiums on several cars. HELP!!!!!!

while you are practicing and they are in the car with you ,you are covered be there insurance.if they lend you the car after you get you licence then they have to add you as an additional driver on their policy

Your sessions with the instructor (assuming a bona fide driving school) are covered by the fees charged. As for friends and family, they had better be insured for learner drivers as well as themselves or you will both collect a hefty fine and points on your licences. Don't even think about arranging your own insurance - the cost will be prohibitive.

You will find this is a tricky one as motor insurance usually cover cars rather than drivers. The only exception is when you are insured for your own car comprehensively and are then (usually) covered to drive another car not belonging to you, but only for 3rd party damages. As you are a learner driver, your premium, if you can find one to cover you to drive several cars, expensive. The only way to find out how much it will cost you is to apply. But it may turn out to be cheaper if you bought an old car and insure it and ask your fam to 'sit' with you to practise. If your fam want to add you to their insurance, they will find it expensive as you are still a learner driver, unless it's only one car we're talking about. You need to do the sums and compare.

Helen's got it right. You're covered in the instructor's car by his insurance. Your helpful family members need to get you added to their own insurances. You ought to do the decent thing and offer to pay any extra premiums they incur.

If you get lessons with a driving instructor you don't need to sort any insurance out - they sort it all out.
If you geting lessons from some family members then I suggest sticking to one car.

Better to have insurance on just one car and other people to teach you in that, if they are insured.
It will be confusing for you anyway to learn in so many different cars.

The price of professional lessons include insurance .
Each family member would have to have your name added to their own insurance policy but at your age it shouldn't cost too much .

if you have insurance then you are covered on whatever car you are driving......and remember with a learner's permit you have to have someone over 18 with a valid license in the car with you when you drive
