Bottled water, bottled beer or canned beer or anything either bottled or canned is all right to drink/eat in Mexico. I just got back from there and the tap water is not safe, but bottled water is accessible most everywhere and is fine to drink. Much of the time it'll be bottled water from Sam's club or Wal-Mart anyway.

Drink bottled or out of the keg.. Or Tequila out the bottle.. and actually the water at the resorts are drinkable .. They have bottled water everywhere too. I went to Mexico and wasn't very cautious about such things and I made it back without as much as a stomach ache.

Bottled water and drinks are fine. So is the water in Peurto Vallarta. At many vacation spots near the border, you don't even want ice cubes.

Just as long as the beer came from a fridge rather than an ice cooler - you will be fine.

Bottled water should be fine, but no ice.
Beer should be fine but again no ice and preferable straight from the bottle.
