It shouldn't be called a diet. It should be part of your lifestyle. It's about staying away from high glycemic carbohydrates. High glycemic carbohydrates stimulate the release of insulin in the body. Insulin is the hormone responsible for increased fat storage. That is why the carbohydrates you eat should be all low glycemic. The only time you should ever ever have high glycemic carbs is after a rigorous workout with some protein.
