If everyone lived in someone else's shoes for a week, they would see everything differently. But after a week or two of realization, we'd probably just revert back into our own nasty selves.

I think that would be a great way to see how the shoe fits. I'd like to think that it would open our eyes to the many different races and cultures and make us become closer as a people. The old saying," until you've walked in my shoes" would definately hold a different meaning cuz we would have all been there and done that!! I myself would like to be a foreigner for a week, to see the struggles in conforming to US standards and the problem of racism and non-acceptance. We might all change for the better if we really experienced what it was like to be an outsider looking in.

I've have always hated discrimination. all of kinds. a little while ago, i had a dream one night where i was a African amercan. in this dream i felt a lot of despair and i felt for that for a small period of time, how these people are treated. the dream con-sited of me feeling shameful of my color and shameful of who i was. i no that this dream did not show all the discrimination there is and all that people go through, but it sure showed me a little of what people go through.i think your idea is a good one, however i do believe that in life as we pass on and then then come back we all get a chance to be everything, by this i mean, black, gay, a man or women, so i do think that we will all get a chance to SWITCH places.

wow...what an interesting concept....I think I would choose, in this order, to wake up as a homely fat girl, a poor person, a rich person, and then a black person.......wonder how many could really assume the life and experience it fully....I believe that for anyone that could really do that, their lives would be forever changed......nice question there lowroad.....;-)

How would that work with someone like me an American middleclass mutt. Sure would be cool to walk a mile in another persons shoes, I'd very much like that.

i think of it has slightly to do with Genetics, yet i think of ingesting conduct play a place additionally. as an occasion, black French women don't have helpful behinds like American ones do. anyhow, now a days you notice extra white women with plump butts, not that many yet a pair. in spite of the actuality that they could have butt implants, so who knows.

Well, I guess, we finally get to see things in our opposites eyes. Walk a mile in their shoes. I don't think I'd mind. If they can live their life, why can't I?

If I knew it was only for a week I would stay locked up inside until I changed back.
If it was for a lifetime, well, suicide wouldn't be so bad.
