I understand that it's a preservative and a flavor enhancer, but when I see a soup company that puts all my daily recomended sodium in one serving, I have to wonder why--this is total overkill. It's like eating 50,000 c's of vitamin D a day. Sure, vitamin D is good in small dosses, but in large quatities it can be toxic. Not to mention, for me at least too much sodium makes certain food sickening--at least to me. Anyone else feel this way?

The food companies don't give a sht about you. They only care about your money and how to get more of it. They use cheap refined stuff in alot of the foods out there. They market low fat and low this and low that. But all the stuff in their crap is the stuff that causes your body to retain more weight. And it really ends up being like an addiction, just like an alcoholic is addicted to booze, an eataholic is addicted to salt and refined sugar. Stay away from that stuff.
