The doc will give you a local anaesthetic (the worst part, and even that isnt bad) then cut away the mole and stitch you up. the mole is then sent to the lab for tests and you get the results in a couple of weeks.
All you have to do is look after the wound until it is healed, keep it clean and dry.

Hi. I had this done a couple of weeks ago.
The one I had removed and biopsied was a mole on my right hand. (It was a very small freckle until recently.) It turned out to be a blue nevus. The dermatologist gave me a local anesthetic (stung a little but not too bad) and after it was numb, cut it out to send for a biopsy. It was deeper than he thought so he had to put 2 stitches in. It really wasn't too bad at all. I had to keep it very clean, neosporin, band aid, etc. I went back about a week and a half later for the results and to have the stitches removed.
He also biopsied a sore below my eyebrow that did come back as cancer and it was the same process for the biopsy, minus the stitches.
I keep using Mederma, in hopes of reducing or eliminating a scar.
Good luck!!

The mole removal isn't too bad. You will have a local anaesthetic around the mole. The doctor will then cut around the mole to remove it. You will then have a few stitches and that's that. They send it for a biopsy as a matter of course, it's nothing to worry about. If the results come back that it was cancerous, they've probably caught it in time anyway.

The trick with removing a mole is that you must remove the roots of the mole as well or it will not get rid of it. It is best to just let a doctor do it. It is a very fast and simple procedure. I had it done on a mole next to my eye a few months ago and I was in the waiting room longer then it took for them to take it out.

Ive had 2 mole removal. One off my back one off my neck.
They will give you a local anastetic. It burns a little at first but then you cant feel anything. When they did my back it really really tickled and I kept laughing. Its nothing to worry about then a month later you will probably get a letter. (Ive had 2 letters they just said it was ok). Im not sure what happens if its bad. But the mole removal takes a matter of seconds.

Skin moles are growths located on skin. These might be taken out using surgery, or even better using many homemade remedies or products.

Surgical treatment is expensive, priced at from $100-$450 yet it can easily bring about skin damage. Homemade remedies are economical and can exterminate skin moles inside just a couple days with no scar problems.

Home remedies include things like onion, tea tree oil, or even baking soda and castor oil used over a limited period of time.

OO oo I had one of these two years ago, fron under my boob. it was okay, done at my GP's surgery under local anesthetic, I will say though, that though it dsidn't hurt at all, I was stoned as a fart from the injection and ate a 16pack of ferrero rocher on the very long stagger home after I got severe munchies. Get someone to wait for you, I'm lucky I didn't step infront of a car or something, but everyone reacts differently to medicines, I giggled all the way home walking quite erratically stuffing my face with chocolate, you could have followed my path by following the tin foil wrappers! Any more questions just IM or email me, it wasn't a bad experience at all, was quite funny though because of it's location I had to hold my boob out of the way and the doctor was about 12 and was so embarrassed my nipple was pointing at him and wobbling around everytime he did anything! Oh it was a funny day that one.
