I'm in a fund raiser competition. What are some quick ways to raise donations? I only have until 3/19! Help

The fund raiser is for a local children's hospital here in Portland, Maine. The event is co-sponsored with the hospital and a local radio station. To be honest, I want to raise the most money! I've talked to Wal-Mart and a couple of local supermarkets about soliciting in front of their stores. I don't have the time to set much up. Any ideas, no matter how whacky, will be most appreciated. Thanks!

Wow - in Britain it is illegal to solicit anywhere in public, never mind in front of a supermarket. You WILL raise a lot of money then.
