WHY CANT I SLEEP IM A GENNREALLY HEALTHY PERSON AND HAVE RECENTLEY STARTED LOOSING SLEEP I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND WHY CAN ANY BOBY HELP>>>>

Are you stressed or have recently changed your diet.
Here are a few tips to help.
Drink a hot milky drink about 30 minutes before you go to bed.
Read a book.
Dont use any electrical style equipment about an hour before bed - tv/radio/computer- it apparently keeps your brian active dunno why
Keep your bedroom window slightly open for a bit of a breeze but keep warm
Have a herbal sleeping tablet as instructed on box
Dont get annoyed that you cant sleep at night time as it wont help you sleep - That ones is the hardest.
Dont have any cafine in the evening.

Try getting some fresh air in the evenings (a walk) & more exercise during the day. Don't drink any coffee, tea, or soda drinks after 4:00 (takes 7 hours for caffeine to run through your body). Don't play any computer games etc. just before bed - it stimulates the mind & you can't fall asleep.

If your iron is low it can cause sleeplessness. If you are under alot of stress that can also be the cause.

Try to take advil pm or tylenol pm as a short term remedy and there are also other otc sleep aids.

I take ativan and xanax. Rx only

its probably because you eat sugary things in the evening and avoid caffeine also...and everything else that was said above
