(Assuming a scruff is your muff....lol)

Try using a scented body wash - something natural smelling. Put a dallop of it on a loofah and scrub all over your area. When you rinse the soap off, make sure you let the shower water rinse your openings really well - lift up a leg if you have to to make sure you get some water in there!

No matter what anybody says, I would avoid a douche in every way possible. I have only heard horror stories of infection, pain and in the end they don't really work anyways. Most odours come off of parts that are more visible anyways!

Oh: and I might add shaving or at least trimming down there. Sometimes thick pubic hair can be a nest for unwanted odours!

Coaltar shampoo is very effective for any type of bad dandruff, scruff and psoriasis hair problems. It has quite a strong smell while using but leaves your hair with a fresh clean smell after use. My mother-in-law had extremely bad psoriasis and this was the only thing that helped keep her hair looking and smelling fresh. You can use it on a daily basis until the, or if, the problem lessens and then try every 2 days, if it comes back return to every day. It used to only be given by prescription from the doctor, but I think you can now buy it over the counter from the chemist. If the problem is really bad then you may first have to soften the scruff by soaking your scalp with oil, covering it with a towel and leaving it for 2/3 hours before using the shampoo.

Just use a mild soap and wash daily, no douches, they are bad news, they will disturb your pH and possibly cause a yeast infection or at least irritation down there. Too many perfumed products can cause irritation also. Make sure you are washing inside all your folds. If you keep yourself clean, there should only be a mild natural odor of "you". Anything stronger, you may have a yeast infection, see a doctor.

After sex, I still wouldn't recommend a douche, just a shower with mild soap and your body will cleanse itself. A bidet is a wonderful thing if you have one, or one of those detachable shower attachments in the shower is good also, but not inside your body, only on the outside. Use a panty liner if you want to feel fresher during the day.

I am older than many women on here, but I am not a believer in shaving your pubic area, the hair was put there for a reason, to protect your sensitive parts and prevent bacteria from entering. Only a little trim right around the opening if you feel it's necessary. Personally I want to look like a woman, not a little girl. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

Good luck!
