What game do you play?

Fortune Pai-Gow, Spanish 21,3 card poker, Blackjack,Craps, or slots?

I play pretty good blackjack, and have won the straight flush in Pai-Gow, and actually won the straight flush in 3 card with a $25.00 bet, which paid over $1,000.

I am thinking about Craps. Five dollar bet, double odds, and the $22.00 (5,6,8,9) with a $1.00 on the hard-ways and parlaying that.

What would be your bets for with $200 to walk out of the Casino with $1,000?

That's a tall order. There is absolutely no way to predict what your gambling outcome will be from time to time. You can read up on how to play Craps, Blackjack & Variations, and Poker and thereby reduce the House odds.

With blackjack & its variations, you can count cards, double down when appropriate, split etc. but the problem with blackjack is that your cards can be affected by other players who enter or leave mid-shoe.

With Craps, you have to follow a good dice thrower otherwise making all of the right bets means nothing. The + side to Craps is that if you have a good shooter, you could have your $1,000 in a very short time.

With the 3-card poker or the new 4-card poker, you have to put up so much money initially for Aces+, ante, bet that in the end if the dealer doesn't qualify, then you don't win as much.

With Pai Gow Poker (which is probably your best bet), you just have to bet aggressively & hope that the cards fall right. If you can find a table where's it's just you & the dealer. Play 1 hand as a player & then play 1 hand as the banker (this gives you the win in the event of a copy hand). Also, in Pai Gow - you never have to worry about your cards being disrupted by entering/exiting players as all cards are dealt always. With the Fortune side bet - that's simply a matter of luck (the House odds are incredibly not in your favor).

My craps strategy is as follows

$5 come out bet -> max odds
$22 (5,6,8,9) once there is a point
press a unit each hit on the 5,6,8,9 to $24/$25 max
bet the fire bet if avail (max $5)

I bet the hard point ($5) only at first. If it hits after the next point is set Ill bet $5 on all the hard ways. Each hit press the hards $5 each. I DO NOT replace them if they come down until another hard way is hit. That was you let the casino buy your hard ways for you most of the time.

This also makes the roller hit a number before you load up the hard ways (house bet). I stay away from the horn and the field. If the roller is hitting numbers I'll throw another $22 up just to push the payoff up quicker as well.

Hope that helps.

The best bet is the odds bet on a pass line bet in craps. Find a casino that offers 100X odds bets and low minimum bets, as the house edge is less than 0.1%. I know the Union Plaza downtown used to have $1 min and 100X odds, but I'm not sure if they still do. Anyways, find a casino that will let you place a $2 pass line bet and then back it up with your remaining $198. No number will get you your $1000 payoff, you'll need to hit at least twice. But a 4 or 10 will let you walk away with 4+594 = 598. If you can do that walk away and be happy with the money you made.

The best bet would be to play poker. No limit Texas Hold'em $1/$3 should work just fine with that stake.

All the other games have a house edge, and the chances are pretty high that you are not going to walk in with $200, and walk out with a grand. Just because you can recall some lucky wins in the past, doesn't mean it's going to happen again.

The guy who said to play craps with max odds is correct, as it has by far the lowest house advantage. This is assuming that you are not a good poker player, of course.

Your best bet would be to go to the human resources department of the casino, apply for a job, not leave until you have secured the job, work enough hours to earn $800, cash your check(s), walk out of the casino with $1000!

Good luck
