I wouldn't settle for less. It won't work eventually. I think one should always wait for the right person. It's just a matter of time. And when you do find him/her, you'll be so glad that you waited. It's all worth it.

It's funny because I've thought about this before. I know people who have lied to themselves and didn't break up with people only because the person was "hot". I personally plan to wait for the right peson, why settle for less when you can have the real thing?

That`s up to you I guess, but I would wait for the right person to come along. They always seem to show up when your not looking. NEVER settle for less. You owe it to yourself to be happy. Happy relationships last longer.

Okay, look at it this way, if you "settle" your chance of straying is very high because deep down, you won't be completely happy. Do you want to be that person?

I'm always telling my friends to NEVER settle just because you think "the one" is not out there. You can have fun for awhile, but be honest with who you are with. I almost settled out of spite just because his ex-girlfriend kept trying to break us up - I just wanted to prove I could keep him away from her.

When I finally woke up and bolted, it took me two years and I found "the one" for me. We are celebrating our 7th anniversary in March!
