help me i need a new look!?

Question

i have really dark brown eyes, black eye brows, black hair, brownish olive skin and im sick of it. my skin isnt too dark, its light brown... just i cant tell what colour i should dye my hair, i know blonde would look pathetic.. id look like an alien lol
should i wear coloured contacts? i also have a really round face, can you help me with which hair style i can do? im fed up of my shoulder length straight hair, its just this black i dunno long thing lol

You could try highlights in a golden caramel color, that would brighten up your hair (although personally I think dark haired girls like me look good with natural hair color). If you want to wear the contacts, maybe try a grey or a hazel color, that would be pretty and go with your coloring.

For your round face, though, usually long straight hair is the best style for making your face look longer. If you get it cut or curled, it may make your face look wider. Go to a salon and ask for advice, they may have some good suggestions for you.

You could try dying your hair with slightly red or purple streaks (very subtle, not bright colors or anything), and you could definately try to get some coloured contacts for a change.

If you want to be a little more natural tho you could try some subtle make-up or a new hair style!!

A quick style that sounds like it may work for you: wash and rinse your hair, then flip your hair upside down and apply a large gallop of hair gel to your wet do! Let the ends of your hair fall into your palms and then close your hands as you lift them towards your scalp - sort of like a scrunching method. Really squeeze the handfuls of hair and continue to do this all over your head as your hair naturally dries. If you are in more of a rush you could replace your hand-scrunching method with a diffuser, still upside down place the hair in the diffuser end and push it up towards your scalp.

This will produce a wonderfully wavy/curly effect that will stay in shape until you wash the gel out!

Also: for make-up, try adding some highlights under your brow (something really light) and try something darker towards your lashline (eyeliner is best but depends on how natural you want to look!) Keeping with the simple look - slick on a layer of natural lip gloss and off you go!

If you don't care about going natural and just really want a new look you can always look into wearing heavier make-up :)

You sound quite similar to me. Although I have green eyes. Maybe get some fake tan on to have more of a tan - I know some people hate fake tan (ive tried loads) fake bake is amazing looks soooo natural and doesnt streak people always ask me where I have been on holiday!

I have just had a few really fine blonde streaks put into my hair at the parting. It sounds a bit mad but looks amazing. They are very suttle but look cute! Just makes it look a bit more funky.

I also got some clip in hair extensions they are made from real hair and look really realistic when in. You can really change your look with them mine are 20 inches long so make my shoulder length hair look sooo long. You can wave them or straighten or whatever its fab!

Wear bright colours as this looks best with our dark hair. The colours I find that look best are tops in Hot pink, Turquiose, and Electric blue. We can really pull these colours off so we are pretty lucky :)

you might think about putting mocha and caramel colored highlights in your hair not thick ones but very thin ones so you can keep your beautiful hair color yet make a whole new look and that way the highlights will blwnd into your hair and not be a ahoicking change you know? =] as for your eyes since you would still have a little bit dark hair i would go for hazel or green contact lenses but ones that you can try on to see if go not real exaggerated ones that look bad try trueblends that have little slits so they blend in with your natural eye color you might want to go to an eye doctor for that

Why not try highlights? You can do thin chocolate colored/bronze highlights. Or you can go chunky and do red hightlights or golden. Im brown too and I think the best thing to add dimension and make your face look better is to highlight it up!

Also what about layering your hair? Layers also add dimension and make your hair look less flat.

cut it just under the chin it will look awesome and if ur gona die ur hair make sure it is hemp die cuz regurlar dies can ruin ur scalp
