I am considering volunteering in medical trials as a way of making money. I have some debts that i need to pay off asap and i was wondering if anyone has resulted to this and if it pays as well as it says it does? Also wondered what the whole process involves?

I think most people have been put off medical trials after that disaster with those guys a couple of years ago. If you do want to do it then you will have to make sure you are in the right demographic group for the trial. Try (http://www.entertrials.co.uk/clinical-trials-home

I also thought about this whilst at University...but remember they are called "trials" for a reason.

Did you see the news about the 5 guys whose drug trial went wrong? One or two are dead and the others have had weird cancers etc in their bodies due to the drugs they took in the trials.

They got didly squat other than poor health for doing them in the end....hardly any compensation.

I'm a nurse. You should make sure you are fuly informed of all the risks before you consent. You can also sell you eggs to people who can't concieve and get pregnant. Take care and all the best.

Do you not read the papers? Look what happened to that bunch of men a while ago! I wouldn't risk it if I were you.
