Anyone know of a free or inexpensive place to get a cat neutered? We "inherited" a very friendly abandoned cat, and I'd like to get him neutered. I'll pay if I have to, but we're pretty tight on money. I know there are free services for feral cats; are there any for ones that are going back to homes? I live in Mesa, Arizona.

P.S. I tried the Friends of Animals certificate; there aren't any participating veterinarians near where we live.

Call your local animal shelter or SPCA, they should be able to tell you about any low cost or free spay/neuter clinics in your area.

Good luck and thank you for taking in this stray and giving him and good home and for being a responsible pet owner.
