Why does my boyfriend "do the deed" by himself? We have a healthy sex life so why does he still do it? It makes me feel unimportant. That and he lied about it. Please help. This is really bothering me. Thanks!

Because we can! No, seriously. It's soo much easier, when we're bored, when we have a few minutes and feel the urge, whatever. 1. It's easier 2. No pressure to perform 3. we can do it quick if we need to 4. no hassle of foreplay or anything. There are soo many reasons, don't get me wrong, we still need the real thing, but doing "you know" is something we've done since we've ben able to, it's something we can always do to make ourselves feel better, if we're depressed, angry, alone, any negative feeling, so we can make ourselves feel good for a couple minutes.

Because it is normal. It don't mean you are bad in bed or anything. Me and my ex boyfriend had sex, and he would still do the deed, but right in front of me, and it didn't bother me at all. There is nothing wrong with it, I think you are just worrying too much.

just the urge i guess. talk to him about it. if he insists on doing it, make an offer to help. you need to tell him how you feel about it. he may have only lied about it because it is embarassing for him, so bring it up gently. My man and I have a very healthy sex life as well, and he still does it occasionally. i know how you feel, like you're not fulfililng his need. that isnt always true though. thats why you really need to talk to him about it.

Be thankful he is not doing the deed with another person.

Very Normal, Women do it by themselves to. At least the healthy non-up tight ones do. He probably lies about it to keep from having to argue with you about pleasing himself. Stop being so silly. He could be having an affair with another women. That would be something to be upset about. God bless****

Because it feels good and we know what we like. His sex life is not about you, it's about him...just like your's is about you. If he wants to pleasure himself, you should be okay with that and find out if there's anything you can do to help him...like doing something to stimulate it instead of b!tching about it on a public forum.

The answer is simple, it feels good but I don't think you should worry about it that much(unless it affects your love life)no idea why he would lie about it , most guys would tell you.
